To start off with, I'm going to post links to 2 videos because I am so proud of my TDH and my Son-in-law. Each of them got challenged in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and wasted no time at all meeting the challenge.

From July 23 to August 2, I went gallivanting around the country ... again. First I flew to San Francisco, CA and met my Sister-in-law for a visit with her and her adorable pet, Lucy, in the Sonora region of CA. We went to Pine Crest Lake, Columbia, Jamestown, Mono Lake,
Bodie (an abandoned Gold Mine town)
Big Trees Park in Calavares County
and Yosemite Canyon Rim Drive. The fires were raging and on the Canyon Rim Drive, I saw the leading edge of one of the fires.
Oh my goodness, such beautiful country and such a wonderful hostess. I had a blast, especially beading together.
On July 30, I flew from Sacramento, CA to Philadelphia, PA. I rented a car and drove to my parents house in Langhorne. When I had talked to them earlier, I was going to take the train, and call them from the station, but on looking at the schedules, I felt it would be too tight to make all the trains in a timely manner, so I rented a car. When I got in the driveway, I called. My Dad answered and said, I was just there and you didn't get off the train so I came home. You'll have to walk. So I said OK, I can walk (as I was walking up the driveway). I got to the back porch and I could see Mom and Dad walking around the Dining Room table getting stuff together so they can leave to come get me. They got almost to the screen door before they saw me! It was so funny. Dad cracked up - Of course you'd say you could walk!!! Over the next few days, I saw my Sister and her extended family twice and went with my Sister to see Guardians of the Galaxy. "We are Groot." On Saturday, August 2, Mom and I flew to Tampa, FL.
On August 8, my Brother-in-law flew down to visit for a week and on August 15, he and Mom flew back to PA.
On August 22, I attended a Trunk Show at my friend's studio in St Petersburg, Mind of Light. I displayed my jewelry and gave 2 Reiki treatments. I will be a practitioner associated with The Mind of Light as a Reiki Master. Here are some of the things I've been making lately. Enjoy.
