A really hectic week, but, also a creative one.

Hello all.  Dinner on Saturday night went really well.  My Father-in-Law, his wife, Mom, TDH and I had a wonderful Prime Rib roast with potatoes, mashed carrots and applesauce and ice cream for dessert.  Yum.  It's the first time I've made Prime Rib in ages.  I was nervous but everyone said it was good. Sunday, our niece, her fiance, our daughter, her husband, Bean and Bubba all came for lunch.  We ate outside and talked and laughed and had a grand time.  The kids went home for a nap while our niece, her fiance, Mom, TDH and I went for a boat ride.  We saw dolphins!  It was great.  We went to the beach, watched the sunset and toasted family.  Monday, our niece, her fiance, our daughter, Mom and I wandered around on Beach Dr. to all the interesting shops and the wonderful park and view of the Pier.  Tuesday, the gang went Thrift Shopping.  Our niece and her fiance then headed South to the Keys for a week.  Wednesday, Mom, TDH and I went to dinner at my Father-in-law and wife's apartment.  Very good.  Today, our friend came over with her grandchildren to fish off the dock.  They didn't catch anything but learned how to cast pretty well.  So, as you can see, lots to do and lots that got done.

Now, for the bracelets I was working on last week.  I'm so excited to have this one done, it was a lot of work and took a while to get the method right.  You can see where I started and the difference at the end.  I saw this bracelet on Pinterest and found a tutorial on YouTube.  I'd do a link or two a night until I finally did the ending hook tonight.  YAY!  It's called an Egyptian Coil.

This was the other one I was working on last week.  I made it twice, one in blue and one in brown because   I really like the way it turned out.  Simple, elegant yet strong.

And because I had so much free time and because my Mom likes owls as much as I do, I made the following necklace after seeing one online.  The online version was on a real wood branch though.  I decided to make one out of wire.

Keeping with the animal theme, I made this bunny for my grandson - it was supposed to be for Easter but I didn't get it done in time.  Go figure.
And, last animal, I promise (well, for this week anyway).  For all the cat lovers.
Thanks for checking in... be well.
