Now back to our regularly scheduled post ....

I've been making jewelry like mad this week, one set of earrings for a commission and everything else because I liked the way they looked.  So without further ado:

These were made so a friend could choose which one she wanted for another friend.  Her instruction was blue and curly.  Which one do you think she chose?

I've been trying all different methods of making baskets but none seemed to look right, but finally, I did it!  It even has a hinged lid!  For the next one I'll be weaving more wire up and down the sides but I'm so pleased that this one actually looks like a basket.

I'm so attracted to sea life and saw this Ammonite pendant on Pinterest but of course have lost the link.  Mine turned out similar to the inspiration.  I also made my first sliding knot closure ever: it works!

I am always trying new things with the Danish Knots.  I think they are so elegant and love putting them in new combinations.  What do you think of this one?

Well folks, I'm off to Washington D.C. for the weekend.  I am spending it with our son and his fiance to finalize their wedding venue.  Maybe Grandmom will come visit from PA on Sunday.  It's going to be great!

Hope your weekend is as great as mine.  Be well.
