The promised 2nd post, a bit late ...

Hi folks, between online issues, a major head cold and company in town for a long weekend, the promised 2nd post for last week did not happen last week.

What did happen was 2 days of not much, trying to help the cold not get worse, watching the Bean and the Duke overnight while their parents went out for a much deserved night out and next morning sleeping in, dinners with our Father in law, his wife and her children while they were visiting and Saturday, and TDH took the aforementioned guests out for a fishing trip on the Boca Ciega Bay.  They didn't catch much but everyone said they had a grand time.

Mother's Day was nice and relaxing.  Went to a lovely brunch with Father in law and family at a beach resort before their company left that evening.  It was great food and wonderful conversation.  Talked to both of our children and made plans to visit our son and his fiance this weekend after TDH told me to check flights.  He is the best person I know.  Our son and his fiance are finalizing their wedding venue and I'm so excited about it.  Besides, I haven't seen them since early March so ....

I did make a few pieces this week.  One of which was inspired by a post on Pinterest with tutorials (right).

I really liked the idea of a big focal wire with exotic beads accenting it. 

Mine is on the left. I'm really pleased with how it turned out.




I was also very happy with the responses to my Hands earrings and necklace set, so I started experimenting with other symbols using hands.  The following is what I came up with so far..... any other suggestions?
